It has been a lifetime question for me what we live for. Most people live repetitive lives for livings, pretty much following the daily routines. The diligent working life is generally appreciated in modern society, however, it sometimes makes people feel empty that there is no more.
When it is not clear why our lives are repetition, my way of finding the answer is to observe and illustrate ordinary objects in my daily life. All works in this series are so mundane that they hardly get noticed in reality. I hope to find any hint about the meanings of our existence through these unsung objects.
