PBS NewsHour is often considered “balanced news media” by both republicans and democrats. They demand “fair perspective” on major issues from NewsHour. With the reputation of “balanced” politics news media, PBS NewsHour emphasizes data-driven reports with in-depth data visualization.
As a lead designer who was deeply involved in the designs of 2020 elections special coverages, I designed and worked on a number of the elections special pages and data visualization components.
